Ladies Craft Fellowship Saturday, March 13

walk on March 28th at 4:00 p.m. to cover our entire
grounds and all the ministries that are being
accomplished here at FBC. We encourage you to

New Members Class for Saturday, March 27th from 8:30 –
12:00. If you are interested in this class, please sign
up on the sheet at the back of both worship services.

Women’s Event on May 7th. Our guest is Lisa Harper, a
wonderful Christian woman with a divine sense of humor.

Citrus County Fair is
coming and we have been asked to participate in the
ministry booth on Friday, April 2nd from 2 – 6 p.m.
If you are interested or able to come out that day and

Items of Interest and Needs

Women on Mission are offering a Cook Book to support Camp
WorldLight. This is the mission camp the girls go to in the summer
for a week at a time. The cost of the book is $15 and has many of
our ladies recipes in it. Please support this very worthy cause. You
can get your cook book in the office.

Risk Management Training ~ If you would like to work with
children or youth, you need to participate in Risk Management
Training. This includes nursery, Sunday school, AWANA, VBS, Youth
Activities and all other children’s activities. Trainings are
scheduled in the Conference Room for the following dates and times:
Wednesday, February 17th @ 7:15, Feb 18th @ 1:00,
February 21st immediately after second Worship service and Thursday,
February 25 @ 11:00.
No youth 6th grade and above will be permitted to work in the
nursery or VBS without this training.

The Food Pantry needs a worker on Mondays from 9:30 to 1:00 p.m.
Contact the office at 795-3367 if you can fill this great need.

There is a Bible study class meeting ever 3rd Saturday at the
home of Jim and Patty Jones for young adults. They would love to
have you if you are 25 – 30’ish. They are also looking for someone
to provide child care at their home for approximately two hours on
the Saturdays they meet. This would be a paid position. Please call
Patty for more information at 563-1450.

AWANA is in need of “Listeners” from 5:45-6:45 to listen to the
children recite their memory verses. This is a very important
ministry of our church. Please come to the children’s clubhouse at
5:30 on Wednesdays to volunteer. See Kelly or any other AWANA worker
for more information.

Meals on Wheels needs your help. There are two cooks needed for
the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Start time is 9:00 and all meals
are picked up by 12:00. A couple of hours work for a BIG difference
in the life of a home bound person! We need substitutes, too!!

We need some people to volunteer to pick up doughnuts on Sunday
mornings. They need to be picked up at Publix at 8:00 a.m. Please
call the church office if you can help in this ministry.

Florida Baptist Children’s Home is in urgent
need of help on their Jacksonville Campus! They must hook up to the
city sewer lines with a total projected cost of over $400,000. Over
the course of a year, this campus will serve more than one hundred
abused, neglected and orphaned children.

The Agape House has lost a large supply source and
are in desperate need of house hold items: dishes, pots & pans,
small appliances such as electric can openers, toasters, toaster
ovens and crock pots; queen & full sheet sets as well.
Our Coed Agape Bible Class invites you to meet with
us each Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at FBC.

“Our Military Heroes” bulletin board,
located in Victory Hall needs information on your loved one who is
currently serving in a military unit. Please submit a picture, 5x7
or smaller, to the church office or to Ellen Betts with the name,
address, details and military unit of service.

FBC is now a site for Big Brothers & Big Sisters.
We arel an on-site mentoring
facility, from 3:30-5:00. If you would be interested in becoming a
Big Brother/Big Sister or know a child who needs a Big Brother/Big
Sister contact the churhc office. Applications for Adult “Bigs” are at the
Welcome Center.

(Young People’s Group) meets Sunday nights @ 6:00pm at the Yana Club
House (Yeoman’s House). It is an A.A. open meeting, which means
anyone is welcome to attend. Whether you have an addiction problem,
know someone who needs help or are just curious… drop on by. |

Donations are needed for our youth group. They are in need of
deserts, sodas and chips. They meet every Sunday night for food,
drink, fun and a meaningful message. Please support our Youth.

Coming on March 7th is the
Children of the World Choir!
Children of the World is a special group of orphaned and
disadvantaged children from several different countries
around the world. They travel the U.S. for 10 months
putting a voice and face to the desperate needs of
children whose lives have been devastated by civil war,
famine, poverty, unclean water, and preventable
diseases.
Host homes will be needed for the children. Are you able
to help?
