River Life Groups consist of 10-15 people who are meeting together for four activities which are listed and explained below. The Groups are planned to meet on a weekly basis in members homes. Ideally, it should include believers and unbelievers.

 The purpose of the River Life Group is twofold. First, it is to take us deeper in our understanding and relationship with Jesus Christ. Second, it is to deepen our relationships with other people where we can show the love of Christ to each other.

 There are four components to the River Life Group experience:

1. Fellowship – it is a time for people to get together in an informal setting to “do life together”. (You can invite people who don’t know Christ yet!)
2. Prayer – we will discover and pray for the needs of others as well as allow others to pray for us.
3. Study – all the groups will participate in a Bible study component that is determined and organized by church leadership.
4. Service – periodically, each River Life Group will participate in some type of service component ministering to people or organizations outside of themselves.

As you can see the potential to grow inward and outward is huge. We invite the whole church to get in on the ground floor and get involved. As our church gets larger we have to become smaller. River Life Groups is a very effective way to do this. Please talk with Pastor Bill today and get signed up!
